Sport and summer vibes: Beach Handball returns to Malgrat de Mar

This weekend, on July 13 and 14, l’Astillero Beach will once again host a spectacular sports event combining sun, sea, and excitement. The 2nd Beach Handball Tournament of Malgrat de Mar is back, organized by Club Handbol Malgrat and Club Esportiu Blanes Handbol with support from the Town Council.

Over 350 athletes, 2 days of competition and great atmosphere

More than 350 players from around the region will take part in the tournament, competing in various categories from youth to senior, in both male and female divisions. Matches will take place throughout the weekend, turning the beach into a vibrant playing field.

Sport, energy and fun by the sea

The tournament aims to promote beach handball, a growing summer sport especially enjoyed in beautiful coastal locations like Malgrat de Mar. The event encourages teamwork, community values, and offers a fun and active way to enjoy the coast.

Spectators will be able to enjoy a great sports atmosphere with chill-out areas, refreshment spots, and free access for everyone.
